This was another old favorite. Fire Flower, in this context, is a firework; additionally, the kanji for the Japanese term for fireworks is 花火 hanabi, which uses the characters for flower and fire, respectively. Though Len is in love, he seems to be taking time off to fulfill a dream. Though it is ambiguous whether the dream revolves around the relationship or around Len alone.
